Reporting to the Vehicle Procurement Manager you will be responsible for proactively managing all aspects of vehicle and accessory pricing for the business nationally and in NZ, in addition to ordering assets, preparation of quotes and supplier & client communication.

Ideally suited to an individual with a repairs and maintenance background in the leasing industry with intermediate to high level of microsoft excel experience and looking to progress to the next level in their career.

The Vehicle Database Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the Australian and New Zealand quoting process is effective and efficient. Vehicle knowledge including an understanding of the maintenance and servicing required is integral to your success in this role. Vehicle manufacturer and supply network relationships are also a function of this position.

Key responsibilities and functions include:

  • Management and update of vehicle database ensuring product, pricing and availability information is accurate and current
  • Maintaining preferred supplier details and information for the business
  • Data management of all system pricing for vehicles and accessories
  • Effective ongoing communication with clients and suppliers

Key attributes and experience:  

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the automotive industry
  • Broad knowledge of vehicles including servicing, maintenance and accessories is necessary - dealer retail background advantageous
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS word, Excel and Outlook
  • Motivated, organised, productive and disciplined
  • Understanding of motor vehicle lease types is desirable
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Understanding of registration pricing and procedures Australia wide an ideally New Zealand
